Jimmy Fallon, Sir Paul McCartney, Scarlett Johansson and more perform ‘Wonderful Christmastime’ (video)
Sometimes, you don’t need videos to be altogether funny from late-night TV in order for them to be magical, and for the latest example of this, all you’ve got to do is look at the latest one below from “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.”
In this video, you can see a star-studded lineup of famous people — and animated characters from the movie “Sing” — giving a rendition of the popular Paul McCartney Christmas hit “Wonderful Christmastime.” This includes McCartney himself, but also Reese Witherspoon, Matthew McConaughey, Seth MacFarlane, and Scarlett Johansson. It’s light, cheery, and maybe it will help to get you a little bit more in the Christmas spirit than you were otherwise.
We’re starting to get to the point now where late-night shows are also starting to shut down for the holidays, though the schedule across the board for that is a little bit wonky. After all, there are some shows out there that are already going off the air, and one of the reasons for the scheduling confusion is because of Christmas happening this year on a Sunday. Even for other jobs, there is some confusion about what days you take off.
We can tell you that there will be a new edition of “The Tonight Show” airing on NBC tonight, and that the lineup of guests includes Viola Davis, Nick Kroll, and chef Daniel Humm. Meanwhile, there is also a new episode of “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert” coming up tonight, as well. If there are many more highlights from these shows to share, of course we’ll do our best to have them for you here.
What do you think about this video? Is it a fun little distraction from all of the chaos that’s been 2016 to date? Be sure to share some of your thoughts in the comments below! (Photo: NBC.)
