Is ‘Bull’ episode 10 new tonight on CBS? Ratings odds and ends
Unfortunately, we come into this article bearing some further bad news today for “Bull” fans: There is no new episode of the show airing tonight on CBS. It’s been an interesting run so far this fall, one marked at times with some new episodes and interesting cases, but at other times with last-minute hiatuses due to everything from the World Series to the Presidential Election.
The show is going to be off the air (at least in terms of new episodes) until January, when you are going to be seeing an installment “EJ” that is going to involve technology in a way that we haven’t seen in some other cases so far this season, at least from the plaintiff point of view. The photo above featuring Michael Weatherly is from this episode.
On another subject, we thought we’d spend a minute giving you a quick update on some of the show’s recent ratings. The past few episodes have averaged between a 1.4 and a 1.6 rating in the 18-49 demographic, which is a drop from where the show was at the start of the season. Yet, at the same time it’s not so great of a drop as to make us worried in any way about the future of the show. At the moment it remains one of the most-watched new series on the air, and since CBS tends to care a little bit about total viewers and the 25-54 demographic a little bit more than some other networks, we figure that “Bull” is a shining star to them.
While we would be shocked if we saw a renewal announcement before March, we do think that it is coming. The only thing that would (potentially) shocked us more is if the show ends up getting canceled before May rolls around. It would have to take a complete collapse, and while that’s possible in theory, we don’t exactly see it.
