‘Scorpion’ season 3, episode 12 preview: Is Cabe’s life in jeopardy?
Tonight on “Scorpion,” there’s going to be a lot of holiday cheer with it being the Christmas episode, but there’s going to be a little bit of danger in here as well as Ralph’s life could be put into a certain degree of danger. Hopefully, all will be okay beyond this as we start to move forward into the holidays.
What we can go ahead and give you now is some of the first information regarding what is coming up on the show’s big return in “Ice Ca-Cabes,” which may be one of the most ridiculous episode titles we’ve ever seen for this show (and that’s saying something). This is a show that CBS really isn’t going to make you wait that long to see in comparison to some other programs that are out there, given that this will air on Monday, January 2 at 10:00 p.m. Eastern time.
Synopsis – “When a mission in the desert results in exploding shrapnel that seriously wounds Cabe, Team Scorpion must freeze his body in order to save his life.”
Ultimately, this episode seems like a variation on a theme that we’ve certainly seen a number of different times over the course of the show’s history, and that is seeing a major character be put in a certain degree of jeopardy thanks to some unusual circumstances that surround them. We suppose that the only real difference here is that we’re dealing with someone like Cabe as opposed to Walter, as we saw it earlier this season when he was in space.
Still, part of what could make this episode particularly great is that this could give us an opportunity to allow Cabe to show off more of a vulnerable side, and to reflect on much of his own life with himself in great danger. We’re so happy that we’re getting to see a show like this where Robert Patrick can be a regular, and play so many dimensions behind just being the super-dangerous tough guy that he’s often cast to be.
