‘Elementary’ season 5, episode 11 preview: What’s next for Jonny Lee Miller, cast in ‘Be My Guest’

Tonight, “Elementary” is airing an episode entitled “Pick Your Poison” that could have some pretty heavy story implications for one Joan Watson. After all, someone’s been writing false prescriptions under her name, and the last thing that she wants to have some of these said prescriptions end up being tied to something terrible elsewhere. The deeper that Holmes and Watson went into this operation, and the more they realized precisely how vast it all truly was.

As many longtime fans of the show know, this was far from the end of the road when it comes to the series! The next new episode of “Elementary” will be coming your way in January (next week is Christmas, after all), and the title for it is “Be My Guest.” This of course makes us think about “Beauty and the Beast,” but we’re pretty darn sure that this was not the original intention here.

Synopsis – “Holmes and Watson race to find a woman who’s been held captive for years before the kidnapper takes drastic steps to avoid being caught. Also, Watson becomes frustrated when Shinwell refuses to focus on his informant training with her and Holmes.”

We certainly know that trying to get Shinwell in a much better place is going to be a key project for Watson this season, mostly because of just how hard she’s worked in order to ensure that he gets his life in a better place. There may be a little bit of extra pressure when it comes to this particular situation, given that Sherlock didn’t necessarily give her a lot of confidence that he felt like this was a great idea and something worth doing. She’ll want to prove otherwise to him, while at the same time also making sure that this man she cares about is in a better spot.
