‘America’s Got Talent’ Holiday Spectacular video: The Olate Dogs perform!

AGT -There are many different reasons to be excited about checking out Monday night’s “America’s Got Talent” Holiday Spectacular, and for us, one of them is going to be getting a chance to see almost an all-star lineup of past contestants. We like that, for the most part, NBC and the producers really emphasized past acts more so than other celebrity guests, given that these are the real selling point of the franchise, and these are the people who have turned their dreams into reality as a part of being on the competition.

If you look at the new video below via TVInsider, this one features a particularly memorable and fun performance group in the Olate Dogs. They are the only animal-based act to ever win the American version of the show, and it’s pretty easy to see why. If you’ve seen them before, there are a few tricks in this routine that are familiar; however, if you weren’t watching the show a few years ago when they were on, this will completely blow your own. This group has the “wow” factor more than any other act we’ve potentially ever seen on the show. We’d never seen a dog do a backflip before, just as we’d never seen one hop over various objects or do a conga line.

This act is really all about joy, and the addition of the Christmas sweaters and the set really only add to that. There are several judges on the show now who weren’t there back when the Olate Dogs were first introduced, and you can especially tell that they are having a great time with it. Simon Cowell in particular is a huge fan of dog acts.

Before we go, here’s a quick reminder to come back Monday morning for an exclusive interview with former champion Mat Franco about returning to the show, and anything and everything when it comes to his world of magic.
