When could the ‘Outlander’ season 3 trailer be released?

Outlander -For those of you who love having debates when it comes to “Outlander,” we do think that this is the article for you — specifically if you are every big as curious as us in order to determine when some of the first footage from the upcoming third season of the show could start coming out.

If we were to compare this to season 2, there would already be a little bit of footage for the show out there. The first teaser for that season season came out on December 1, and the trailer came out in February earlier this year. This time around, there is still no teaser, and you could attribute that to a number of different things. For example, maybe they want to get the right footage together for it, or maybe there is just no need for Starz to rush into getting together some footage for a new season that isn’t actually going to be airing until more than likely April.

Unless someone is waiting to hand down some sort of present for the holiday season, our educated guess at the moment is that the latest trailer is probably going to be launching at some point around when the last one did earlier this year. That gives Starz plenty of time in order to market the show properly, and also plenty of time for production to also prepare everything that they want to possibly include on their end. Maybe they’ll be compelled to do another teaser before then, or do something that has become an increasing trend over the course of the past couple of years: Announce in advance when the trailer is going to premiere and give a few teasers of that.

Given everything that is in the third Diana Gabaldon book Voyager, there is a lot of material for the show to try to mine when it comes to story. Some of it will most likely be heartbreaking, since we will be waiting for Jamie and Claire to find each other once more. Meanwhile, there will also likely be moments of adventure, chance to discover new characters and relationships, and of course the same sort of epic sequences that you’ve come to know from the past couple of years of the show.
