When could ‘American Horror Story’ season 7 theme secrets be shared?

Roanoke -

Earlier this season, “American Horror Story” season 6 tried out something very different in its promotional strategy: It revealed almost nothing in advance. Nobody knew the cast, the theme, or really much of anything about what you can expect to see. It was a bold move, but we’ll give them credit for being brave and doing something that is a little bit outside of the box. After all, this is absolutely not something that we expected from them after the way they promoted the series the couple of seasons before that.

Well, we can now tell you that we may have our venue to find out more details about “American Horror Story” season 7, one that will apparently be a little more lenient when it comes to giving away information: PaleyFest. The Paley Center announced that this show, along with “This Is Us” and “Westworld,” will be one of the shows taking part in their notable TV event — something that was even referenced on “American Horror Story: Roanoke.” It will be taking place at some point from March 17-26 at the Dolby Theater, otherwise known as home of the Academy Awards a little bit later in the year.

For the time being, we’ve heard all sorts of theories about season 7 — with one of our favorite ones being that it will have some sort of aquatic theme to it.

Note that there is not necessarily any guarantee that the show is going to make any sort of bold announcement, but this is a venue where they have done so in the past, and we do think that it behooves them very much to get some sort of announcement out there into the universe here where there are so many eyes watching. From this point, they can get to the next order of business in announcing the cast and figuring out some of the finer details. It should premiere on FX in the fall of 2017.
