‘The Real World Seattle: Bad Blood’ episode 10 video: Is someone pregnant?

The past two weeks on “The Real World Seattle: Bad Blood” have been for the most part all about departures, given that we’ve seen Mike make the decision to leave followed by Theo being banned from returning after getting into it physically with Kassius.

So moving into Wednesday night’s new episode, is it possible that we could have something else entirely — or, to be specific, the opposite of a departure altogether! In the sneak peek below, you can see Tyara go in and request to the producers that she go and visit an urgent-care clinic, after taking a pregnancy test and seeing it come back with what she believes to be a positive result. Understandably, she wants some sort of further clarification from a doctor before she starts thinking seriously about it, but if this turns out to be the case, it could mean a very big change for her life, and also a big change in tone for the entire show.

After all, look at things in this sense: For the most part, “The Real World” is a show about escaping that more so than it is living within it. You’re in a fantasy house where you’re going out, partying, and spending some time with a ton of roommates. Fundamentally, this is a very different show than it once was at the onset. Having a pregnancy in the house could change the entire tone of the series, and then have everyone taking their lives much more seriously than they were previously. We anticipate this more than anything being dramatic, so we’re interested to see just what happens.

Bonus sneak peek – Tyara and Kim are actually going to sit down and talk things out. Remember Kim? We saw her enter the house, but we’ve barely seen anything of her on the show really ever since.
