‘Blindspot’ season 2: The search for Patterson in winter premiere
The second season of “Blindspot” certainly left on a rather-tense note, given that we had a showdown that could have potentially lead to the death of one of the show’s regular characters in Patterson. While we obviously hope that she makes it out of the crisis alive, one of the larger calling cards with this show is the sole fact that nobody really is safe. (With that said, there have to be some ways for the show to prove that without killing off Patterson, right?)
We’ve got now some of the first details for you from the upcoming January 4 episode entitled “Nor I, Nigel, aka Leg in Iron,” which may be the strangest title that the show’s come up with at any point over the past two seasons. We know that they’ve got the anagram thing going on, but really, this is what we’ve got? Anyway, check out the synopsis below if you’re interested in getting some other details:
“Patterson (Ashley Johnson) is missing…and a newly amnesiac Roman (Luke Mitchell) is on the loose. Jane (Jaimie Alexander) and Weller (Sullivan Stapleton) must race Shepherd (Michelle Hurd) – and the clock – to find them before it’s too late.”
While there are some episodes of both this and other shows that tend to focus in more on multiple different storylines woven in over the course of the hour, some of the best do tend to be the ones that are, for the most part, all about following a single thread for the most part. That’s why we are very much pleased with what the show seems to have going on here, and it’ll be exciting seeing what lies on the other side. Patterson may make it through, but you do have to remember that this doesn’t guarantee that she’s in good shape.

I’ve every confidence that Patterson will be all right; even if she is the one who is shot. Patterson is due to exact a rollicking good revenge on Borden which is so yummy to imagine. You go, Patterson! Roman’s future, however, is scarier in that he is already known to the FBI as a terrorist; regardless of having been Zipped by Sister Jane. Roman’s missing memory won’t really endear him to Weller or the rest of the Team. They’ll still consider Roman a threat on all levels. Jane’s belief in her brother won’t be enough to convince the others to give Roman a second chance to convert to their side. It’ll be interesting to see how Weller and Jane handle their different perspectives and feelings about Roman. I’d like to think that there would be compassion between the two, Jane and Weller, in how they work out their feelings for each other as those feelings are going to be obviously influenced by how they respectively handle Roman and his role in Sandstorm. Hopefully, Weller recognizes that Jane truly loves her brother and that that sibling love is the one thing that provides her with a sense of belonging to someone. After all, Weller has all but abandoned Jane recently. Sucker! Perhaps, sorting out Roman’s predicament will lead Jane and Weller to the reason behind the tattoo of Kurt’s name on Jane’s back, which also leads to the connection for Jane and Weller to be together. Supporting each other through this dilemma could very well rekindle the loving feelings (and much needed trust…!) between Jane and Kurt to the cheers of Jellers everywhere! Kurt will surely need Jane’s support and love when he discovers his role and importance to Sandstorm’s final mission! It’ll most likely have a devastating impact on him!
