‘Bones’ season 12 spoilers: First look at Emily Deschanel in premiere!

Bones -

If you love “Bones,” we certainly understand that you want to get some more insight into the show starting with its January 3 premiere. Given that we are getting closer to that episode coming on the air, we’re more than happy to be able to share some scoop now!

The first thing that you should know is the title for the hour: “The Hope in the Horror.” That seems appropriate given what we know about the show right now. Brennan (Emily Deschanel) was kidnapped by Zack Addy (Eric Millegan) at the end of this past season, and there are still questions out there regarding what this means and whose side Zack is really on. Given that we’ve already seen the former cast member turn before, we’re hoping that there is some further twist coming and that he is not truly evil as he seems to be. Unfortunately, you’re probably not going to know whether or not the “hope” in the title is coming from Zack or someone else until the episode airs.

In addition to the photo above, we also have the attached synopsis courtesy of SpoilerTV:

“The premiere picks up where last season’s cliffhanger left off – Brennan has been kidnapped by her former assistant, Zack Addy (guest star Eric Milligan), as Booth and the rest of the lab desperately search for her.”

It’s not entirely clear whether or not this story will be fully resolved within this episode, but we hope and expect that the show is going to be moving things along at a fairly-steady pace. After all, remember that there are only 12 episodes this season, and that is not going to leave people a lot of time for the writers to dwell on any particular storyline.
