‘MacGyver’ episode 10 preview: A different sort of car chase

MacGyver -While there were no new episodes of “MacGyver” the past few weeks, there’s no need to worry: We’ve got another new episode of “MacGyver” coming on CBS Friday night! This one looks to have a combination of almost everything you could want from the series, and that includes fun action and some character moments to boot.

In the first of the two sneak peeks that we’ve got for you below, you can see our title character trying to figure out how to navigate around a key problem: A car chase, and the presence of the police behind him and Jack. You would think that this would end with Mac coming up with a way to slow the cop-car down with some sort of self-made creation, but instead he does something a little bit different: He finds a way to boost the speed of his own car! Think of this as a fun, practical solution that doesn’t involve harming the police in the process.

As for the second sneak peek, this revolves a little more around the main story of the episode: Mac’s attempt to protect a young woman in his hometown that has quite a bit in common with him. This could be a chance for some valuable backstory for both him and Bozer!

This preview easily has our favorite line of the entire series, as Mac narrates to us “I know what you’re thinking — this isn’t going to be a fair fight. There’s only two of them, and I’m in a science lab.” Unfortunately, things don’t work out quite like he thinks, and his confidence may have gotten the best of him. Still, there’s something incredibly entertaining that comes out of watching him whack somebody with a science book.
