TV Quick Hits: ‘Fuller House’ season 2 promo; President Obama visits ‘The Daily Show’; ‘Strike Back’ returning
Let’s begin this edition of TV Quick Hits with some news that many people out there are going to find interesting: President Obama will be stopping by Trevor Noah’s version of “The Daily Show” for the first time before leaving office.
On Monday, December 12, Obama will sit down for some sort of interview with Noah, and we presume that there are going to be a wide array of discussion points given the recent Presidential Election and some of the backlash against that. We do imagine that he will be somewhat measured in his responses, given that he will likely not see it as his job to bash relentlessly someone who is coming into office.
As for some other news of the day…
“Strike Back” will be coming back – Great news for those who loved the show on Sky / Cinemax when it was first on the air: It’ll be back sooner than you know it! According to a new report from Deadline, Alin Sumarwata and Daniel MacPherson will be joining British actors Roxanne McKee and Warren Brown in the new version, which hopefully will be back on the air at some point in the coming years.
Consider this news to be yet another slice of great news on the TV revival front; it has certainly been an exciting year when it comes to that!
“Fuller House” promo – Finally, how about something worth celebrating when it comes to the Tanner and Fuller families? Prior to the series coming back on Netflix with new episodes tomorrow, the show put online a play on “‘Twas the Night Before Christmas.” This is incredibly cheesy, but at the same exact time, what else did you expect from this particular show?
Stay tuned, as we are going to have some further news regarding this and many other shows moving forward into the future!
