‘Designated Survivor’ episode 10 (winter finale) preview: Is a traitor in the White House?

Designated Survivor -Much of “Designated Survivor” to date has revolved around seeing the adjustment of President Kirkman into the White House, but also some of the different challenges that come along with the new position. This is a show about obstacles, and he’s still figuring out the right way to overcome them.

With that said, we absolutely have to think that this would be easier were there not traitors roaming around all over the place! The winter finale is entitled “The Oath,” and we’re going to see some potential worst fears realized as Kiefer Sutherland’s character learns more and more about the machinations that were in play with the attack. More and more information is going to come out, and it could cause things to become all the more troubling in the end.

Synopsis – “President Kirkman fears there could be a traitor in the White House when he discovers shocking information connected to the Capitol Bombing. Confiding in Emily, Kirkman puts her in charge of quietly investigating. Meanwhile, new information surfaces about Congressman MacLeish, raising concerns regarding his vice presidential nomination.”

Sound powerful? We have a feeling that it’s going to be.

Promo – If this doesn’t get you psyched-up or emotional, we really wonder what will given that the main meat of this promo is listening to incredibly dramatic music, hearing Kirkman take the oath, and eventually get some signals that some significant and tragic things are going to be unfolding. While Kirkman may be making the next step in his future, at the same time this may be one of those “two steps forward, two steps back” moments for the country if there is yet another reason for everyone to be fearful.

Judging from the text that scrolled across the screen, this one is going to be surprising and then some.
