‘This Is Us’ episode 11 preview: When will Mandy Moore, cast return?

Tonight on NBC, you are going to get a chance to see the Christmas episode of “This Is Us,” and one that is hopefully going to be a Christmas tale that is at times lighthearted, but at others emotional. Our hope is that it’ll be the perfect mixture of everything that we would want in a show around this time of year.

Of course, the bad news is that this is going to be the last episode of the series for at least a little while. According to the Futon Critic, the next new episode of the show is going to be airing on the show come Tuesday, January 10. There are still a handful of stories to tell this season (specifically, think eight more episodes), and more than likely, these will run the emotional gamut and take you to a wide array of different timelines. Unfortunately, it is a little early at the moment to have many more specific details in terms of what is coming up.

The biggest thing that we can hope for when it comes to the show’s future here is that there are some familiar faces coming up. After all, Alexandra Breckenridge of “The Walking Dead” was specifically unveiled recently to be playing the part of a childhood friend of Kate’s.

What we can hope for, and pretty much be assured of, is some more great performances from the cast including Mandy Moore, Milo Ventimiglia, and Sterling K. Brown. Also, let’s hope that Toby is still alive.

Promo – Unfortunately, we cannot say that this promo does much beyond give us the next title in “The Right Thing to Do” — it mostly exists to confirm that the show is returning on January 10, and that there are full episodes available online in addition to the aftershow.
