‘Scorpion’ season 3 romance debate: Should Walter, Paige get together by end of year?

Mrs. Carter: Is there a future for Walter and Paige this season on “Scorpion“?

In the wake of there not being a new episode coming on CBS tonight (blame the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show for that), we figured that we would bring to you some sort of update as to where things stand at the moment between the two characters, and also where we could see them going as we move a little bit further into the final two episodes of the season airing next week and on December 19.

The first thing to point out here is that things are clearly better than they were during the two-hour premiere, where Paige realized that Walter had made things so much harder for Walter and Paige in terms of their relationship. They’re getting along to a certain degree now, and to a certain extent, Paige is aware of the fact that Walter has some feelings for her. However, there’s a difference between being aware of those feelings and then doing anything. She’s still with Tim, and we haven’t seen much evidence of that changing … for not.

The episode that you really need to watch in terms of the relationship between these characters is the upcoming December 19 episode, mostly because of the fact that at some point during that installment, we’ll see Tim make a decision on his future. Why would he be considering a future away from “Scorpion” and Paige? There are a few theories that we can think of: Either he gets a career possibility that is too much to pass up, he and Paige have some sort of epic argument and break up, or maybe he just realizes that Paige has feelings for Walter and their relationship will always be imperfect as a result.

We’ll see where this story goes, but knowing this show, there’s probably a lot more to come and discuss with these two characters!
