‘Shameless’ season 7, episode 11 preview: Ian and Mickey running; Fiona’s new chance

We are starting to near the end of the seventh season of “Shameless,” and if this is a time for anything, it is a time for change. Characters will begin to look towards whatever the future may be, whether that’s good or bad. For Ian, there’s probably something exciting about being out with Mickey on a series of escapades; however, at the same exact time this is a guy on the lam for a reason! There’s no real future here unless you can actually come up with some sort of escape plan, and this creates an interesting dynamic for what is for many a really beloved relationship.

Elsewhere, next week’s penultimate episode entitled “Happily Ever After” could prove itself to be anything but.

Synopsis – “Frank and Monica make an interesting proposal to the kids; Fiona sees a new business opportunity; Lip tries to finally get his sobriety under control when he’s pressured by a suddenly grown-up Debbie; Ian and Mickey play Thelma and Louise; Kev and V try to start a new chapter after losing the bar to Svetlana.”

At this particular point it’s a little bit difficult to say for sure whether or not this is an episode that will live up to our personal hype, but at the same time, it’s pretty easy to love the sort of all-out spirit that we’re seeing from the writers here in terms of the number of storylines that they are throwing at you. You’ve got Monica, you’ve got Fiona thinking more and more about business opportunities, and you’ve got a hugely dramatic turn for Ian that could change everything. We’re not entirely sure what else you could possibly want in the end of a season of the show.

Promo – Ian and Mickey are heading to Mexico! Unfortunately, it’s not a peaceful trip since Mickey’s plan to cross the border is rather violent. Meanwhile, Frank wants to marry Monica, even though he is technically married to someone else. What can go wrong?
