‘Pitch’ episode 10 preview: Is someone shutting Ginny down?
For everyone who loves “Pitch” on Fox and has enjoyed the ride through most of the season, we do come now bearing what is some rather-sad news: Next week is the winter finale. There is still more of the story to come featuring these characters (at least for these characters), but you will have to wait until the new year to see it.
The title for this winter finale is “Don’t Say It,” and based on some of the details that we’ve got for it now, it looks like Ginny could face some trouble as questions arise as to whether or not she’s worked too much over the course of the season. It is something that many pitchers do face over the course of a season, and it puts huge pressure on managers and GMs in order to make the right decision. Players aren’t always able to think about their future in a vacuum. They’re thinking more about winning in the now.
Synopsis – “Ross warns the Padres that Ginny is dangerously close to her pitching limit, but management is reluctant to end her season. Meanwhile, Amelia confronts Will about money that has gone missing from the restaurant fund.”
As you would expect from the show at this point, there is going to be a tremendous mix of personal drama and, at the same time, some interesting character moments to boot from the sporting world. We wouldn’t be shocked if there is a cliffhanger, but there is nothing altogether confirmed on that just yet.
Promo – This certainly does make the situation with Ginny’s arm look every bit as dramatic as we’re suggesting here, and we’re not surprised the show is hyping it up. This could be career-changing for her if the pain doesn’t go away! Without her arm, she won’t have a future, and you can see the frustration starting to boil over with her and even some other members of the Padres. There’ll be a little bit of romance in here too, but we’re not sure whether or not this winter finale’s going to be ending on a positive note. How many of them do?
