‘The Celebrity Apprentice’: Leeza Gibbons, Bob Harper to join Tyra Banks, others as advisers

We’ve already made it no secret that we love “The Celebrity Apprentice,” and we’re trying to separate the ridiculousness of the show that we remember from everything that transpired in the Presidential Election. They’re two very different beasts, and with Arnold Schwarzenegger now coming on board as the new boss in the boardroom, we’re going to have a little bit more separation there.

It was announced a while back that Jessica Alba, Tyra Banks, Warren Buffet, and others were going to be advisers to the former Governor during the season — for those unfamiliar with the show, their role is to monitor the teams during the tasks, report back with their findings, and offer advice to the boss as to who did the most and the least.

We’ve now learned that a few more people are going to be joining the show in this role, including former “Celebrity Apprentice” champ Leeza Gibbons, “Biggest Loser” star Bob Harper, Tracey Edmonds of “Extra” fame, British financier Gemma Godfrey (hey, it’s good to have some real money people on the show!), chef Rocco DiSpirito, and, for whatever reason, YouTube star Justine Ezarik. Hey, maybe there’s a push here to appeal to millennials.

The new season of the show finally premieres early next year, and features celebrities like Boy George and Snooki (see the full list here) doing their part to compete for glory — and money for charity. The show’s moving to Los Angeles, and with that, we expect a very different look and feel for the series than we’ve had to date. We imagine that there will be several other minute changes in both the way Arnold operates and the structure of the tasks, but we’ll see more of that once the show actually begins.
