‘Timeless’ episode 9 preview: Meet Bonnie and Clyde; are Lucy, Wyatt getting romantic?
Tonight, “Timeless” is bringing you the story of the Moon Landing and so much more with “Space Race,” which is going to get you back invested more in the main story after that detour-of-sorts that we went on last week with being stuck back in the eighteenth century. So where are we going from here? Think along the lines of getting to see two of the most notorious criminals of all time, and two people in Bonnie and Clyde who for whatever reason are also thought about as folk heroes despite their list of crimes.
These two characters are going to be the focus of next week’s new episode entitled “Last Ride of Bonnie and Clyde,” or at least the part of it that doesn’t involve our heroes tracking down Garcia Flynn. There’s going to be a lot of excitement potentially over the course of this hour, but we’re also willing to wager that there’ll be a few surprises here and there at the same time.
Synopsis – “On the run with the bank-robbing Barrow gang, the team needs to gain the trust of ill-fated lovers Bonnie (guest star Jacqueline Byers) and Clyde (guest star Sam Strike) in order to find out Flynn’s (Goran Visnjic) target in the Depression-era South. While Agent Christopher (Sakina Jaffrey) tracks down a lead in present day, Lucy (Abigail Spencer), Rufus (Malcolm Barrett), and Wyatt (Matt Lanter) risk getting caught in the crossfire, suspecting that whatever Flynn’s after may be a key piece of the whole puzzle.”
For those wondering, there is still at least one more episode after this one next week that’ll be about Benedict Arnold, so there are two more time-traveling stories that we’re going to get a chance to behold. The show is likely going to give you a straight shot of episodes after the holidays, and will end before the start of the spring given that its full season is only set to be sixteen episodes.
Promo – Apparently, at some point over the course of this episode Lucy and Wyatt could also be getting romantic. We’re not sure the show necessarily needs a romance among his man team members, but we’ll see how this unfolds.
