‘Dancing with the Stars’ pro Mark Ballas, BC Jean are married!

Mrs. Carter: Mark Ballas has something new to be thankful for today!

One day after Thanksgiving, we’re now hearing that the “Dancing with the Stars” pro (pictured above with recent partner Paige VanZant) married on Friday his longtime girlfriend and AlexanderJean bandmate BC Jean a.k.a. Brittney Jean Carlson in a ceremony north of Los Angeles. Well over a hundred guests were in attendance, and that included fellow pro dancer and Mark’s longtime best friend Derek Hough serving as the best man.

In a statement (per People Magazine), Ballas had the following to say leading up to the event taking place:

“It’s a wild feeling … Your wedding is something you subconsciously prepare for your entire life. You wonder who it’s going to be with, where it is going to be and how the ceremony and reception are going to be. Now it’s finally here and happening. It’s surreal. I just want to soak it all up because I just know I’m going to click my fingers and the whole evening will be over and I want to make sure I enjoy it.”

Ballas took this past season of “Dancing with the Stars” off in order to take part in “Jersey Boys,” but he did return for one episode and we have to presume that both he and the show are always open to doing something further in the future in the event the opportunity does end up presenting itself.
