Thanksgiving Marathons: ‘Blue Bloods,’ ‘Chopped,’ ‘Z Nation,’ ‘Shameless,’ and more
Today is of course one of the greatest holidays out there — who doesn’t love Thanksgiving? It’s a chance to sit back, relax, and enjoy most of the day without having to worry so much about any of the major problems of the world.
There isn’t a whole lot in the way of new programming on the air tonight, but there’s still a perfectly-good opportunity for you to check out some marathons that are taking place across may of the major networks! We’ve compiled a list of our favorite marathons that are worth checking out below; as a reminder, all times listed are Eastern, but should apply to wherever you are.
6:00 a.m. – “The Real Housewives of Orange County” marathon on Bravo.
6:00 a.m. – “Z Nation” marathon, Syfy.
7:00 a.m. – “Parks and Recreation” marathon, Esquire.
10:00 a.m. – “Will & Grace” marathon, We TV.
11:00 a.m. – “Blue Bloods” marathon, ION.
12:00 p.m. – “Shameless” marathon, Showtime.
5:00 p.m. – “Chopped” marathon, Food Network.
7:10 p.m. – “Ridiculousness” marathon, MTV — this network serious runs marathons of this show pretty much all the time.
If you love movies, there are some other options for you out there. IFC is replaying constantly “The Rocky Horror Picture Show,” while over on AMC you can see a marathon of various Westerns that were popular over time. On Freeform tonight, you’ll be able to see some of the “Toy Story” movies plus also the Halloween Special (don’t ask us why they’re airing that). On Spike, you can see all of the early movies in the “Jurassic Park” franchise — they don’t have “Jurassic World” yet, but if you love the old iconic movies, this is a good destination for you.
There are some other marathons that will be coming up later in the week, so be sure to come back tomorrow and Saturday for a little more insight into what you should be checking out on Black Friday and beyond.
