‘Sleepy Hollow’ season 4: ‘Once Upon a Time,’ ‘Heroes: Reborn’ alum Robbie Kay joins
What is it about Robbie Kay joining so many different fun genre shows? We’ve seen the actor play a terrifying and vastly underrated Peter Pan on “Once Upon a Time,” just as we’ve also seen him take on a main role on “Heroes: Reborn.” We love this guy, so it’s exciting for us to see him on another show.
This time it looks like Kay’s got a head-turning role coming up on the upcoming fourth season of “Sleepy Hollow,” even though this one may be a little bit different than any role we’ve seen him in before. Per a report from Deadline, the actor is going to play — preparing to launch early next year with a dramatic creative overhaul — an internet star by the name of Logan MacDonald, someone who has accumulated a rather prominent and substantial internet following.
One of these said followers is Molly (Oona Yaffe), the 10-year old daughter of Diana (Janina Gavankar, “True Blood”), who is going to be working alongside Ichabod Crane (Tom Mison) for a good percentage of this upcoming season.
It’s not entirely clear as of yet just what this character’s larger role is going to be in this series. We certainly know that “Sleepy Hollow” is not above doing something crazy a la giving you a character who pretends to be some sort of normal internet star only for them to end up being the spawn of some terrible demon — we also do know that Kay can play evil incredibly well (if you haven’t seen his performance on “Once Upon A Time” as Peter Pan we highly recommend giving that a watch). We can’t wait to see what he does with this role.
