‘Scream Queens’ season 2, episode 7 preview: The aftermath of key Taylor Lautner reveal

Scream Queens -Tonight, “Scream Queens” on Fox lifted the veil on one of the biggest questions of the season: The identity of the Green Meanie. This was the character responsible for so much death and destruction, and it just so turned out to be … well, one of the people we very much expected it to be. Yep, Cassidy Cascade is far from your ordinary doctor!

With that being said, we didn’t see the Nurse Hoffel involvement coming (which is nice because we are rarely surprised by twists these days), and it’s what made this so exciting / surprising to watch. It also sets us up for a really crazy episode next week entitled “The Hand,” which provides some opportunities for her collaboration. Also, we’re going to have a chance to see some other assorted craziness here, as well, which really shouldn’t surprise anyone given that this is what “Scream Queens” is all about.

Synopsis – “In an effort to secure positive press for the hospital, Dean Munsch pitches a risky surgery to Dr. Holt, whose hand begins expressing more of a wild and dangerous personality than ever before. Meanwhile, Chanel #3 forces Cassidy to undergo a psych test to find the root of his condition with surprising results, and Nurse Hoffel sets a devious plan in motion.”

We do like the fact that the show didn’t wait any longer in giving us the whole Green Meanie reveal, largely because it allowed the show a better opportunity to deviate itself from the first season. There is some merit in wanting to wait to reveal the killer, but at the same time it is nice sometimes to go ahead and start to build that character (or characters) further.
