‘Teen Wolf’ season 6, episode 2 reaction: About Stiles’ mother…

“Teen Wolf” is a show that certainly does love its curveballs, and we definitely have to say that the show opted to give us one of the biggest ones to date on Tuesday night’s all-new episode of the series.

Even though Stiles may be gone from Beacon Hills for the time being, is it possible that his mother could somehow still be alive? It was one of the stranger reveals we’ve seen so far this season, but as with just about anything else in this universe, there is a little bit of a rhyme or reason to it … even if that doesn’t appear to be altogether obvious at first glance.

Just in case you’re wondering what exactly went into this decision, just take a look at what executive producer Jeff Davis had to say in a new interview with TVLine:

“We really wanted to show what Sheriff Stilinski’s life would be like without Stiles … A long time ago, we thought, ‘What if he loses Stiles, but gets something back in return? What if he gets his wife back? What does that mean? Where the f–k did she come from? How is this possible? That’s a big part of the mystery, and we have a lot of fun with it.”

Hopefully, that fun continues as long as it possibly can, especially since in the end, what we’re really getting here is a somewhat-odd combination of both that and a lot of pain … the sort that comes with being forgotten. Given what we’re getting here when it comes to Stiles, one of the other things we’re wondering now is this: If Stiles does in fact come back, what does that mean for his mother — and for everyone else? Could the world change even more as a result of all the madness?
