‘Homeland’ season 6 photo: Carrie, Saul take a seat
It won’t be until next year when you have a chance to take a look at the upcoming sixth season of “Homeland,” but based on the new photo above, there’s no reason to worry about Carrie and Saul being out of each other’s lives.
Here’s the setup for what we know about the new set of episodes: We’re jumping forward once again in time, where Carrie is going to be working apart from the CIA at a law firm, who does its best to try and defend Muslims who are unfairly persecuted. It’s a job that allows her to use some of the unique skills that she picked up while working overseas, while also staying seemingly out of danger to live a normal life with her daughter.
Given that this is “Homeland,” and almost nothing seems to go down in a particularly-peaceful way, we’ll just how long this lasts. We’re not exactly optimistic that Carrie is going to have a whole lot of peace in her life for very long.
As for what’s going on with Saul, he’s going to be in New York helping to debrief the President-Elect on everything that they need to know before taking office. “Homeland” is a show that does love to emphasize timing and events happening in the real world, and this is no exception to the rule. Granted, by the time that this show does premiere in the new year, there’s a good chance that Donald Trump will already be starting off those “first 100 days” that we’ve heard him discussing to such a great deal.
Of course, some other familiar faces will be heavily involved in this season, as well. Get ready for a fairly substantial role for Dar Adal moving forward, and we’re going to see more of Peter Quinn. While it looks as though he’s going to survive the end of last season, that’s no guarantee that he’ll be in a good position.
