‘NCIS’ season 14, episode 9 video: Bishop narrows the field of suitors

If you were to compare “NCIS” to “The Bachelor” — which is something that you really don’t want to do very often — we feel like we’re now at the point in the competition where the series lead is cutting many of the potential candidates and narrowing down the field.

In the sneak peek below, Bishop seemingly confirms in a conversation with her brothers (who decided, for whatever reason, that surprising her within her home was the right thing to do) that she is dating someone who also works for the government. In theory, this could mean that she’s dating someone we haven’t quite met much of on the show, but at the same time, would that be any fun at all?

We don’t need to put on any sort of thinking cap to be aware that the most interesting candidates are the people who are already tied to NCIS in some way, with Nick Torres and Clayton Reeves being the most-likely candidates. Our sentiment is that Reeves is at the top of the list, given that earlier this summer Bishop mentioned spending some time with him prior to him returning to the team. Obviously, they forged quite a connection in their short time together if she’s going to be going through this sort of effort to see him during what little spare time she has!

Dating life aside, Bishop’s brothers all being together makes for a good time — but we do seriously question their judgment here that sneaking into the home of a government agency is a good idea, even from the vantage point of a fun surprise. She knows how to use a gun!
