‘Real Housewives of Orange County’ reunion preview: Shannon Beador walks off
Walking off seems to be a tradition for many “Real Housewives” reunion shows, and during the third and final part of “The Real Housewives of Orange County” reunion airing on Bravo Monday night, we’re going to see yet another case of this happening. Surprised? Well, you really shouldn’t be at this point. We don’t even blame Shannon Beador for doing it given that this reunion is becoming increasingly volatile.
Personally, we think that this reunion show is starting to make a great case as to why the network should consider changing the format. There’s almost nothing that really is resolved via these shows, and at one point they tend to just devolve into watching people scream at one another. Also, what’s with the obsession with rumor-spreading? Why is that fun?
Anyhow, the preview below makes it clear that it is a shouting match with Vicki Gunvalson that causes Shannon to walk away from the reunion stage, while tensions remain just as high between Kelly Dodd and Heather Dubrow, which has been a tradition for the vast majority of this show. It feels almost like some of these people feel like if they’re loud and strong enough with their opinions, everyone around them will change their mind. Doesn’t quite work like that.
Synopsis – “The reunion concludes with the ladies recounting their traumatic experience in Glamis. Old wounds are opened as Meghan finds herself on the defensive for her lack of sympathy towards Vicki after the accident. When the ugly drama of Ireland is discussed, emotions run high and Shannon is driven to her breaking point.”
