Donnie Wahlberg, Nick Lachey launch boyband sitcom, ‘Survivor’ drinking game, Kristen Wiig on ‘SNL’
In just a few short days the Mannequin Challenge has gone from a high school rivalry online to a celebrity opportunity to create interest by standing perfectly still. A couple of days ago I mentioned this was going to be a big trend and well, it has. Why? Everyone can participate in a mannequin challenge and the creativity is never ending. Even Kristen Wiig, who will be hosting SNL this week, joined the cast in the show’s own mannequin challenge video. Steering clear or themes from past shows this season, it appears Kristen is bringing her humor to “SNL” and the fans can hardly wait for Saturday night.

Donnie Wahlberg, Nick Lachey reveal new boyband sitcom
American hearts are melting today. The epic moment when five (or less) handsome hunks walked on stage to sing and dance still draw crowds. Perhaps that’s why the swooning of the ladies around the announcement of a new boyband sitcom isn’t surprising. What is surprising is boyband members Donnie Wahlberg and Nick Lachey are working on this project. Long live the boybands and let me just say that the waiting list to see this pilot from the audience at a studio is going to be long!
‘Code Black’ fans relieved; more episodes ordered
The medical drama “Code Black” has created a supportive audience. It was one of the new shows that CBS didn’t really tip their hand about until the last minute. Rumors of it being cut and saved were buzzing around Hollywood and viewers were understandably worried. That all changed with the news this week that the drama will continue as CBS ordered more episodes! Don’t forget to catch this great show tonight, Wednesday, as part of the team enters a Russian sub to save a life.
‘Survivor’ drinking game? Fans find new way to enjoy show
Looking to have a splash of grapefruit juice watching TV tonight? A soda? Or even bubble water? Perhaps those are not your drinks of choice, but it is several beverage suggestions to enjoy tonight’s episode of “Survivor: Millennials vs. Gen X.” A funny and lighthearted drinking game posted online has been revealed to the viewers of the popular show as fans come together to see who might be on the jury next. There is nothing wrong with a little American pride this week and Stevie Wonder steps in to offer it. After all the voting, infighting and hoopla of the election, it’s great to find a moment solely about America and her country. This epic performance was performed on a harmonica and it’s epic. Released by “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert” today, it appears it was a segment cut from the show last week. No matter when this was filmed, it’s a beautiful performance!
