‘Quantico’ season 2, episode 8 (winter finale): Preparing for a ‘shocking’ betrayal
Tonight, “Quantico” is bringing a new episode to ABC, but unfortunately, all signs point to you waiting for a little while after this one airs to be getting more of the story that is coming up the rest of the way. Because of the American Music Awards, there is no new episode airing in seven days’ time. Instead, the episode “Odenvy” won’t be coming your way until you get around to November 27. That is when “ODENVY” will air, and we’re certainly curious to see what the story for that episode is going to be based on what we know about it at present. Here’s a clue: There’s going to be some seriously relationship drama.
What to know more? Then we’ll let some of what we’ve got for you below largely speak for itself.
Synopsis – “At the Farm, Lydia and Owen teach the group about the necessity of lying and cutting off relationships. Perfect timing for Alex, since she is feeling disconnected from Ryan personally and professionally. In the future, Alex and company attempt to destroy the biological weapon.”
The latter story may not have some of the juicy dating drama associated with it, but we’re willing to wager that it is a million times more critical, given that there are likely going to be some lives in serious jeopardy here. We’ve been trying to figure out what the endgame for the hostage crisis could be, and it’s certainly possible that it is far more deadly than just targeting the people in the room. It’s almost always a race against time with this show, and we imagine that moving forward, this is going to be the case once again. The biggest thing that we can say is that we definitely feel for some of the people who are going to be likely in harm’s way before the end of the first half of the season. If we know one thing about “Quantico,” it’s that someone is likely going to be dying before we reach the end of the road.
Promo – We’ve just learned that this episode is the winter finale; more so than that, this is going to end with a “shocking betrayal” — which should be interesting, given that it’s going to be hard to shock us when there’ve been so many betrayals already. We’re almost numb to them.
