‘Pitch’ episode 8 preview: Rain delays and trade talk
Over the course of the past several weeks, “Pitch” deserves some credit for doing an admirable job portraying the highs and lows of a baseball season. We don’t necessarily think that this is an easy thing to do, given that you run the risk at times of it looking like the same thing every week; also, there is only so much of a fictional group of players that you can see at one time on the field.
Tonight on Fox, you’re going to have a chance to see a little more of a personal struggle for Ginny courtesy of some revealing photos going public; moving into next week’s new episode entitled “Unstoppable Forces & Immovable Objects,” the story is going to change yet again. It will remain personal, but in a very different way courtesy of Ginny’s brother topping by.
Synopsis – “A rain delay at Petco Park causes the team to hold Kangaroo Court in the clubhouse in order to pass the time. Meanwhile, per Oscar’s suggestion, Mike mulls over the option of trading to a new team, and an unexpected visit from Ginny’s brother, Will (guest star BJ Britt), causes friction with Amelia.”
Isn’t it nice to see Britt on TV so soon following the end of “UnREAL” season 2? Elsewhere on the show, this isn’t the first time that we’ve seen the show address trade talk; we definitely think that this is something that will come up again before the series is over whenever that is. As for Kangaroo Court, anytime that we hear about that we’re going to smile mostly because the idea in theory is a lot of fun.
Promo – Specifically, the idea of a trade is going to be front and center in this episode, and the same goes for a couple of other themes: Dishonesty, and also whatever sort of deviousness can be done in order to make a trade happen.

would love to see where the Mike and Ginny relationship goes. I like the emotional dynamic between the two. I like see who they have some sort of feelings for each other but never let’s the other know.
