‘Blue Bloods’ season 7, episode 8 video: Why tension forms with Jamie, Eddie

We don’t know how many different ways we can say this, but here goes nothing: You are really going to want to watch “Blue Bloods” Friday night if you fancy yourself a major fan of the Jamie and Eddie characters. These two have been partners since the very beginning of the series, but there have long been questions about if they could become more than that.

Well, we’re about to enter somewhat of an odyssey when it comes to their relationship. We’re not sure where it is going to go, but we are fairly-confident that it’s going to lead to the two at least dipping into the waters of romance. Hey, we’ve got photographic proof of it over here!

However, before we get to something romantic, we have to navigate through something that definitely appears to be rather dramatic. In the sneak peek below, you can see the two partners clashing over a major decision that we saw Jamie make while on the job. He opted to assist someone in a case who he then allows to stay at his place. This incenses Eddie, since she feels like Jamie’s potentially throwing his career away for the sake of helping someone he doesn’t even know. She doesn’t want to see him damage his career — and also hers, since she knows that their partnership effectively means that whatever he does, she’s tied to it in some shape or form.

Is there some jealousy here? Jamie accuses her of it, and he’s probably right to think so. Yet, at the same time, he can’t throw any stones since he was clearly very jealous by some of what went down last week.
