‘Quantico’ season 2, episode 7 preview: Priyanka Chopra’s Alex in pain
At the start of the second season of “Quantico,” we learned a thing or two regarding Owen and what the goal for Alex Parrish and Ryan Booth truly was at The Farm: To start to see precisely what he was up to in training potential CIA recruits. He had his own secret organization within the agency, and the idea was that he was going to use them in order to achieve his own dangerous agenda. There are some times when in the midst of all the montages and the standard missions, we’ve forgotten about that said goal.
Luckily, we do think the next new episode of the show entitled “LCFLUTTER” could restore it to top of mind, which is very much a good thing since we need that to be so in order for the show to continue to work in that timeline. We’ll see some of the heat be put on Blair Underwood’s character given that for one of the first times this season, Alex and Ryan could be able to use one of his own exercises against him, at least in theory.
Synopsis – “At the Farm, Owen teaches the trainees about enhanced interrogation techniques, and turns the tables on his students by putting himself in the hot seat. Meanwhile, Shelby goes undercover. In the future, a new president is sworn in, and Miranda makes a tough choice.”
As per usual, there’s always a lot going on, but it’ll be nice to see Shelby get something better resembling an independent story while Miranda’s motives, intentions, and so much more could start to become a little bit clearer.
Promo – This certainly gives you a little bit more insight into what’s going on. For example, Lydia’s warning regarding Alex not being able to get out of there was clearly correct, since she seems to be subjected to almost relentless torture and pain. While this may be wonderful material for Priyanka Chopra to stretch her acting chops, it may be tough for everyone else to watch. We just hope for a little more clarity in this episode in the midst of a murky season.
