‘Agents of SHIELD’ season 4, episode 7 preview: When are Clark Gregg, cast returning to TV?
Did you enjoy Tuesday night’s new episode of “Agents of SHIELD”? Provided that you enjoy television when it’s big, bold, and crazy as hell, odds are that this was one of your favorite episodes of the entire season. It gave us more of the Ghost Rider origin story, while also showing the character taking down Lucy Bauer. Unfortunately, his uncle Eli Morrow seemingly gained even further power as he took advantage of the Darkhold to advance his own mystical agenda.
After all of that, you gotta want more, right? Well, we hope that you’re okay with waiting a while.
The promo below reveals that the series, starring Clark Gregg, Chloe Bennet, and of course Gabriel Luna as Robbie Reyes, is going to be off the air until Tuesday, November 29 at 10:00 p.m. Eastern. As for the reason behind this said delay, your guess is as good as ours. We understand the hiatus next week, mostly because of the Presidential Election. After that, things start to get a tad murkier. Maybe either November 15 or 22 is occupied by the finale of “Dancing with the Stars,” and given that you’ve also got Thanksgiving Week in there, maybe ABC didn’t see the value in sticking one upcoming episode on one of those dates on an island. The ratings are already bad enough, and this is a show worthy of so much more respect than it’s receiving.
The only thing we can say regarding what is coming up, given that this promo below is so short and there is no synopsis to report on, is that Morrow is going to be one of the biggest threats the team, or really anyone in the MCU, has faced to date. How do you stop someone who can effectively be their own god and create something out of nothing? It’s frightening, and absolutely no easy task. Then again, isn’t that what makes this show so awesome? It’s about figuring out how to stop the unstoppable.
