‘Big Brother OTT’ spoilers: Veto Ceremony results and the aftermath
Today’s Veto Ceremony on “Big Brother OTT” had the potential to be pretty incredible from a drama point of view, and we certainly feel like there are many questions coming out of it. The one that we want to try to ask here is rather simple: Did we see Danielle make the right move as Head of Household?
If we were to plant our flag here, we’d argue that she made a pretty terrible mistake in replacing Whitney on the block with Morgan, and then also leaving both Shelby and Scott up there. While she may have created some better inroads with Whitney while at the same time also alienating her somewhat from her fellow Ballsmashers, at the same time she is also getting rid of the one person in the alliance who is more or less expendable. If Shelby cancels out the votes of Jason, Justin, and Kryssie, the votes of Alex and Whitney to get rid of Scott should help her carry the day and survive another week no matter what America does — and they will probably get of Scott.
Alex was always more loyal to her Ballsmashers crew than Scott, who mostly this season was a manic player who took his “alliance” with Alex to disturbing new levels. He cares for her a little too much, and that on some level probably pushes her further away.
In the end, the biggest net positive for Danielle is that she eliminates someone who was against her who also wins competitions. However, the negative here is that she is eliminating someone who would’ve been eliminated down the road. If she had either forced out Whitney or Morgan this week, her odds of dividing the house would’ve increased exponentially. We say that knowing very well that it’s impossible she could know about Morgan and Alex being sisters … though we could go on another rant about how obvious it is based solely on their appearances.
