‘Big Brother OTT’ spoilers: The Halloween party

Tonight, the “Big Brother OTT” house had an opportunity to properly ring in the Halloween holiday, even if the end result was a resounding “meh” at best for so many different reasons.

First and foremost, let’s talk special guests! It was hyped up beforehand that a slew of past houseguests were going to show up to do some trick-or-treating, and this roster included Liz / Julia Nolan, Lawon from season 13, and Austin / Judas (we’re not sure what side would be turning up). However, Julia wasn’t able to make it, and while Austin may turn up later tonight, he wasn’t present at the time of this writing.

Not only did this happen, but these arrivals were only in for a matter of seconds. We suppose that production was nervous about outside interference on the game, but it was still somewhat of a bummer given that this was hyped up so much.

The good news here is that many of the houseguests really embraced their costumes. Justin was wonderful as a zombie fireman, while Scott made a reasonable werewolf (he already had the sideburns for one) and Danielle proved to be a most impressive vampire. Shelby really went all-out with her Day of the Dead costume complete with makeup. Let’s all collectively boo at Morgan, though, for not wanting to put on the green makeup and the witch wig for her costume. We almost want to make her a Have-Not just for that. Even Kryssie wore her entire costume, even if she did complain about it here and there.

We suppose the game will resume tomorrow with the Veto Ceremony, where Danielle will decide if she wants to remove Scott or keep the nominations of him, Whitney, and Shelby the same.
