‘Once Upon a Time’ season 6, episode 7 preview: What’s in the bottle?

Going into some episodes of “Once Upon a Time,” we can read a lot into them based on episode titles alone. However, that’s not as easy to do with an episode entitled “Heartless.” Luckily, the end of tonight’s episode gave us a pretty darn good clue in terms of what to expect, as we learned that the one thing that the Evil Queen wanted above all else was the heart of one Snow White. Maybe if she snatches that from her, much of the chaos of the season will start to settle.

What we know going into next week’s episode is that so much of everything could revolve around something as simple as a tiny bottle filled with a mystery substance. It could cause tremendous danger in the town, especially if it falls into the wrong, super-dangerous hands.

We don’t necessarily think that the promo below is all that great when it comes to giving answers, but at the same time, the show has done a good job of establishing stakes. The Evil Queen remains the true Big Bad of the first half of the season, and the one thing that makes her especially dangerous at the moment seems to be that no one knows precisely the right way to stop her. Rumpelstiltskin also still has some of that darkness of his own. He’s compounded slightly because we know there are some deep feelings in there that he has for Belle, but for him trying to figure out the right way to process them remains somewhat of a challenge since he has that constant temptation to stay evil.

Now, are we going to see more of Aladdin and Jasmine together? We hope so, given that he now realizes that going home will not be altogether easy.
