‘Major Crimes’ season 5 spoilers: Another slice of casting scoop
It’s not always easy to come up with casting scoop at present for TNT’s “Major Crimes,” but there is a perfectly good reason for that: We’re talking about a show currently in hiatus, and one we’re still waiting to see come back on the air. Hopefully, this latest news will help ever so slightly to ease the wait.
Per a report from TVLine, “90210” alum Rob Estes will be appearing in the upcoming midseason premiere as a character named Clark, a guy who seems a little bit akin to the show’s version of Ray Donovan. he’s a “fixer” for the rich and famous, someone will to cover up their secrets while also making it difficult for the sins from his own past to get out. This character does also have a history in law enforcement as a former officer, which probably isn’t great for some of the main characters of this show given that he could know his way around working with him.
This casting is a little bit more in the way of evidence that the show will go on for “Major Crimes,” even if some of the characters at the moment are in the midst of some incredibly-difficult times. We say this in particular as a reference to what happened with Andy Flynn during the recent summer finale. We’re sure that the show is going to address his present state at some point fairly early on in the summer season, mostly because it feels rather impossible for the show to move forward without doing so.
From there, though, we figure that there will be plenty more cases and stories that are addressed in some sort of significant way. Stay tuned, as we’re going to have further updates as they start to come in.

We already know from Tony’s tweets that he is back and healthy! Thank God! Would really like a return date for the back 8 and just so fed up with TNT that we don’t have a S6 renewal yet. TNT strikes again. To AGAIN make fans wait this long, there better be some great things in the works…otherwise, just confirms my opinions of the network, which are not good!

Thanks for the scoop! It would be even more interesting though, to learn something about the return date of the show for the remaining 8 episodes of season 5 and, of course, the renewal for a sixth season!
