‘Real Housewives of New Jersey’ reunion: Teresa Giudice, Jacqueline Laurita squabble in new video
Tonight marks the season finale of “The Real Housewives of New Jersey,” but as we start to gear up for this airing, let’s take a look a little bit further in the future for the moment at the upcoming two-part reunion show. This will be a chance for everyone to get everything off their chest, which to some cast members will probably translate to mean “a chance to argue relentlessly over silly things.
The video preview for this said reunion show below starts off innocently enough, in between Andy Cohen calling for relative peace and there being an extremely-silly conversation that unfolds about butt implants. Then, things start to get a little bit messy, as we get more into the main conflicts of the season, including the escalation of things between Teresa Giudice and Jacqueline Laurita.
What probably surprises us the most after watching this is that we at one point felt like Teresa going to prison would probably cause some of the ladies to sit back and put some more stock into their own lives and some of the decisions that they’ve made. That doesn’t quite appear to be the case anymore. Instead, what we really see here is more evidence that time doesn’t heal wounds, and while everyone may try to be different for a while, eventually they all revert back to what they do best: Name-calling and fighting with one another. We’re not even saying that one person is better than the other, since we don’t actually believe that to be the case. They’ve all got some serious issues that they need to confront.
While there’s a part of us that wants to sit here and say that this configuration of people will probably never be on the show again after this episode, we ultimately know better. After all, we’ve seen so many examples already over the years of people coming back to the show when we thought there’d be no way they would ever want to.
