‘Timeless’ episode 5 video: All about the Alamo

Monday night’s new episode of “Timeless” is entitled “The Alamo,” and this is going to be a big one for many reasons. Not only are you going to be trying to capture one of the biggest battles in American history, but you’re going to be doing so in a medium some would think is too small to properly capture its scale.

As you would imagine, this was the challenge for production as they went into making this episode. With a reasonably-small budget, they had to find a way to make this story work, and have it be authentic at the same time. The videos below give you a sense of not only what the story will be for the show, but also the technical challenges that go into making it. We like to think that we know the more about the Alamo than most, largely because we grew up in Texas and took a year of history about the state in school. Therefore, it’s nice to hear about little details that the show is working on, especially in terms of it making sure that their Alamo is far more expansive than the one that currently sits in San Antonio. After all, this was true in history, as well.

We’re sure that at some point during this episode, we’re also going to see a few other key surprises unveiled. For example, we still need to learn a thing or two more regarding what Garcia Flynn really wants, while at the same time there are still mysteries aplenty regarding what is going on with Rittenhouse and what they want with all of the recordings. It’s killing Rufus to keep this secret, and we imagine that he will let loose this “secret” at some point before the end of the series.
