‘Hawaii Five-0’ season 7 spoilers: On Danny, Grover, and complications

What happens when personal and professional relationships start to get a little more complicated? This is a question that could be answered on an upcoming episode of “Hawaii Five-0” set to air a little bit later this season.

Following the 150th episode coming to CBS on Friday, the 151st episode set for Friday, November 11 is going to feature Danny working as a chaperone for a winter formal dance at school. Of course, on the surface this seems like a sweet and innocent thing for a father to do in order to care for his daughter — even though poor Grace is probably not going to have a whole lot of fun with Danny watching over her shoulder!

Here is where things start to get complicated: While at this dance, terrorists are going to seize control of the venue and create a hostage situation in order to take a diplomat’s son. Basically, this is where Danny’s skills at being a badass hero could come in handy! (The picture above is from this episode.)

So how does Grover factor into all of this, given that we mentioned him in the title for this article? Well, let’s just say that Danny’s daughter is dating his son, which we imagine could lead to a whole chorus of strange and awkward conversations between the two. Both are going to be understandable rather protective, and we can already picture in our head a scene where each person is pressing the other about their child. This could be fun; plus, we’re always down to see Danny bicker with someone other than McGarrett, even if these scenes are pretty much at the core of the fabric of this show at this point.
