‘Power’ season 4: The Mike Sandoval mystery
While you may be waiting until next year for “Power” season 4 to premiere on Starz, one of the rather-nice things that we’ve seen the network do over time is post a series of small teaser photos showcasing the present state of many of the characters moving into the new batch of episodes.
At this particular moment, though, we’re looking more precisely at Mike Sandoval, arguably one of the most devilish characters within the entire series. Just in looking at the photo HERE, you get a good sense as to why he hasn’t been caught as of yet as the mole for the late Lobos: He has a look that comes across on the surface as innocent, he’s got a job that’s all about protecting others, and nobody close to him has ever detected anything fishy.
Basically, what we’re doing here is giving you a long-form explanation as to why he’s been able to keep things on the down-low: He’s very good at keeping his secrets.
At the moment, the biggest secret that he’s keeping is that it is him, and not James St. Patrick a.k.a. Ghost, who is responsible for the death of Greg Knox in the season 3 finale. Seeing Angela arrest Ghost seems to be the perfect way for him to get off on this scot-free. At first, we do feel like this is a victory for him. The larger question here should just be if there is a guaranteed way in order for him to ensure that this does not come back to bite him. We’re not sure there is, and if Ghost is able to prove his innocent, it’s eventually possible attention could eventually come Mike’s way.
Basically, we don’t think any secret will stay that way forever in the “Power” world. Mike’s time could come soon enough.
