‘Once Upon a Time’ season 6, episode 6 video: The Evil Queen tries to turn Henry against Hook

We all know that the Evil Queen loves to play games on “Once Upon a Time,” particularly when it comes to manipulation. While we know she’s capable of mass destruction, she also seems to prefer the idea of turning people against each other. There’s a certain degree of fun that comes in that particular sort of chaos for her.

In the first of the two sneak peeks that we have below for Sunday night’s “Dark Waters,” you can see the Queen specifically try to target the relationship between Emma and Captain Hook, which she wants to see destroyed by any means necessary. She lives for the misery of others, and recognizes that this is a relationship that could be effectively torn apart. The way that she needs to do that, though, is a function of simply figuring out how to get to them. Enter Henry. Who does Emma care about more than anyone else? Her son. Therefore, if she can make Henry think that Hook is keeping secrets from her and doesn’t have her best interests at heart, she can use Henry as a tool to split them up.

Luckily, we do think that Henry’s a little too smart to fall for this trick in the long-term.

As for the second sneak peek, it’s a lengthy one that introduces you completely to Captain Nemo of the Nautilus, first introduced in “20,000 Leagues Under the Sea.” He recruits Hook with a mission that could bring a certain degree of peace to his soul — while Hook may not want to do it at first (why would he want to follow the orders of some dude with a submarine he doesn’t know?), he may soon realize that he does not exactly have a great deal of choice in the matter.

Suffice it to say, there’s a lot going on Sunday, and much of it could be tied to Hook in some shape or form.
