‘Blue Bloods’ season 7, episode 7 preview: Tension forms between Danny, Erin Reagan
While the Reagan family may love each other dearly, that doesn’t quite mean that they live their lives without disagreements. “Blue Bloods” has shown this off in various forms over the years, and that will be the focus yet again of the next all-new episode airing on CBS in one week’s time.
The title for this episode is “Guilt By Association,” and an argument between Erin and Danny Reagan is only going to start to scratch the surface of what is going to be a rather dramatic, at-times painful episode.
Synopsis – “When a key witness in Danny’s case is killed just before testifying, Erin angers Danny by enlisting Anthony (Steve Schrippa) to help him find the killer. Also, Robert Lewis (Michael Imperioli) tries to force Frank to publicly support the Attorney General’s investigation of the use of excessive force by police, and Eddie and Jamie get the call for an attempted suicide.”
It’s nice to see Imperioli back on the show once more, though we wish that it was under better circumstances for Frank. The reality here seems to be that Tom Selleck’s character probably is going to continue to be under hot water in one way or another over the course of the series, mostly because that just seems to be inevitable for him. This is especially true being that we’re in an era where stories of police brutality are unfortunately widespread, and there is a very clear focus on making sure that the police do not abuse the authority of the badge.
Of course, we wish we could use this article to make yet another case for Jamie and Eddie to get back together, but we realize unfortunately that it’d be wrong to do that on this particular occasion given the seriousness of their story.
