NBC’s ‘The Voice’ season 11: Sting to perform on upcoming show
While we’ve seen many music icons coming aboard “The Voice” over the years in one way or another, it’s still pretty clear that there are few anywhere near the caliber as Sting. The singer remains one of the most iconic performers of the past several decades, and is known both for his innovative lyrics and signature voice. Basically, what we’re saying here is that there aren’t many people out there quite like him.
What we also know now is that we’re going to be seeing him performing on the NBC show. According to TVLine, you will have a chance to see him on an upcoming episode, but there is no official date for it set as of yet.
Personally, our hope is that we get a chance to see Sting in one form or another as a mentor in addition to performer, given that he is the sort of guy who could hand out all sorts of advice. He’s right there with Gwen Stefani as one of those rare people who can discuss finding success both as a member of a band and a solo artist, and he’s had hits spanning several decades. Having a lengthy career is one of the most challenging things for any artist out there to take on.
There are still some more knockout round performances to come on “The Voice,” and beyond that, we’ve got a chance to see some other exciting things. This includes giving us an opportunity to rank and look ahead towards some of what is coming in the Live Playoffs, which will be beginning before long. Hopefully, the teams will end up being diverse, interesting, and unpredictable — the overt frontrunners have made the past few seasons boring.
