‘Law & Order: SVU’ season 18, episode 6 preview: what’s ahead for Mariska Hargitay, Wyclef Jean in ‘Bad Rap’
Tonight, “Law & Order: SVU” is airing a new episode featuring quite the epic “ER” reunion, as Mariska Hargitay and Anthony Edwards are getting a chance to work together on TV for the first time in years.
Next week, we’re going to get a chance to see another epic guest star during “Bad Rap,” which will feature an appearance from famed performer Wyclef John. He may be rather popular for his music, but on this show, we’re going to have a chance to see him in a very different sort of role — one who could prove to be a rather despicable person.
Synopsis – “A record label CEO (guest star Wyclef Jean) and his protégé are questioned for their involvement in the assault of a transgender student.”
If Jean’s character really is guilty of assaulting said student, he will have to incur the wrath of Mariska Hargitay’s Benson and the rest of the SVU — if there is one thing that we know about this team, it’s that they will continue pushing until they end up figuring out the truth. It doesn’t matter how big of a celebrity you are.
Promo – As you can see below, this case will be ripped from the headlines to a certain degree, and is going to touch on some of the most important issues of our time. Now that we say that, this doesn’t exactly give us a whole lot more. The synopsis below probably does actually give a little bit more away than what you are seeing here. We don’t know if this episode can top the powerful one that we saw tonight featuring Edwards, but we will see when it airs in seven days’ time.
