‘Blindspot’ season 2, episode 8 preview: Jane and Weller go missing
While at one point it seemed as though there was not going to be a new episode of “Blindspot” airing on NBC tonight, we’re happy that this turned out to not be the case. The story’s only getting more and more intense, and going into next week’s installment “Do Not Slack, the Featherweight Wins,” we’re going to have a chance to see Weller and Jane in a more dangerous situation than we’ve seen from them over the course of the entire season.
Basically, these two characters are going to be missing, and it will be up to everyone else to figure out where they are. This is a chance for the supporting cast to shine, and at the same time, we’ll see the return of a character who could spell danger in another way for many of these people.
Synopsis – “When Weller (Sullivan Stapleton) and Jane (Jaimie Alexander) go missing during an undercover operation, the rest of the team must interrogate two criminals who hold the key to finding them. AUSA Weitz (guest star Aaron Abrams) returns with a vendetta against the team.”
Promo – What is a little bit interesting about this is that it seems in some ways to contradict what we see in the synopsis; this claims that it is only Weller who is missing. Which one is right? The answer is probably “both” at the end of the day, as this preview probably is just giving us the start of this story. It’s very much possible that at some point over the coming episode, we also end up seeing Jane go MIA as well. One way or another, it doesn’t change the stakes moving forward.
