Is ‘Lethal Weapon’ episode 6 new tonight? More on what lies ahead

Last week, fans of “Lethal Weapon” had a chance to see a new episode of the show air before the Presidential Debates. That may have been more of a hindrance to some of the people out there who watch “Empire,” but it didn’t prove to get in the way for viewers of this particular show.

Unfortunately, the bad news that we have for you tonight is that the trend is not continuing. Due to a broadcast of the World Series on Fox tonight, the entire lineup is off the schedule, and you could be waiting until November 2 to see what’s next … at the earliest. In the event the World Series goes into some of the later games, you will not be able to check out the next episode of this show until November 9.

While you wait, we did want to go ahead and present some further details regarding what’s next. “Ties That Bind” is the title of the next episode, and based on the synopsis below, it appears as though secrets of all kinds, both professional and personal, will be flooding the screen for Riggs and Murtaugh:

“When Riggs and Murtaugh investigate a high-profile case surrounding the murder of a young model, they uncover a vicious secret behind the locked mansion gates of one of LA’s wealthiest families. Riggs gets a jolt from his past when he discovers that an old friend of his wife has ties to the case. Back at home, Murtaugh is shocked to hear that his daughter is sending promiscuous photos to her new boyfriend.”

The promo below certainly makes the case that we’re looking at a super-fun episode when the show does come back, especially when it comes to seeing some random threats handed down to a guy who certainly seems to be a terrible boyfriend.
