‘Arrow’ season 5, episode 4 sneak peek: Oliver stays harsh on his team

Arrow -

Sure, Oliver Queen on “Arrow” may be rather exceptional at being a crime-fighting vigilante, but at the same exact time, he’s got a little bit of work still to do when it comes to being a capable teacher.

In the sneak peek below, you can see Stephen Amell’s character coming down rather harshly on his trainees, especially Wild Dog, for their handling of the latest criminal. Specifically, he thinks that Wild Dog took the initiative on something when he didn’t need to, especially for a moment that he thinks belonged more to Artemis. While we don’t think he is trying to dictate their every move, he wants to ensure that they are all in the best shape possible to continue to take down the bad guys. In this case, it was arguably Artemis’ time to shine, and she did not get that opportunity.

The thing we do continue to wonder after watching these scenes is precisely how long this team will continue to stick around. For example, Oliver tonight is going to do just about everything that he can in order to get John Diggle out of prison. What happens if he executes that? Is the same level of interest going to be there in helping his new team when we have one of his old partners now around?

One other mystery at present is where Ragman is during much of these fights. Clearly, he’s a little bit different than most of the other recruits given that he already has a history of fighting, but he’s someone Oliver probably should keep a close watch on given what he’s learned now about Felicity and her role in Havenrock.
