‘Bull’ episode 6 preview: What’s next in ‘Bedside Manner’
Tuesday night’s new episode of “Bull” featured the title character trying to stand up to the little guy, while at the same time fighting against someone who felt like they could win the case with almost unlimited money and resources at their disposal. To date, this is a guy who has routinely managed to get precisely what he wants out of his cases, which is justice. Of course, we do almost think that he likes a little bit of the ego boost as well.
So were are we going moving into next week’s “Bedside Manner”? Well, we’re going to have a client first and foremost who has an ego so huge that it makes Bull look perpetually humble. Michael Weatherly’s character may also be hiring another attorney out of fear that Benny Colon may not be doing enough to make people buy into what he’s trying to sell in the case.
Synopsis – “Bull must find a way to reverse the negative effect his egomaniacal client, a surgeon with a God complex being sued for malpractice, has on the jury. Also, Bull hires Liberty Davis (Dena Tyler), a previous client’s attorney, when he decides Benny may not be sympathetic enough to the jurors.”
Watching Bull try to corral this sort of ego has all of the makings of a great episode, and that in itself is enough to start getting excited about what we’re going to see here.
On the flip side, we will say that the promo below still leaves something to be desired, though we blame CBS for that a lot more than the show. Why won’t you actually try to tell people what the episode is about, rather than giving us a modified form of the same preview we’ve seen several times already?
We’ll be back Tuesday night to review this full episode; for now, head over here to see what we had to say on last week’s episode of “Bull.”
