‘Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life’ trailer brings you Alexis Biedel, Lauren Graham, Jared Padalecki, and more

Gilmore Girls -

While Netflix started up weeks ago a more robust promotional campaign for their new “Gilmore Girls” project subtitled “A Year in the Life,” they brought some clever ideas to the table in terms of having Lauren Graham and Alexis Biedel back at the table, though this time discussing such modern subjects as Amy Schumer and John Oliver.

One thing for quite some time was missing, though, and that was a new trailer with a few more substantial teases as to what to expect. Luckily, we’ve got that for you below! This trailer contains some of the most substantial footage that is out there of the four-part revival, and that includes some sightings of some familiar faces including Jared Padalecki’s Dean and Melissa McCarthy’s Sookie.

One thing that we should say is not to assume that either one of these aforementioned stars is in it for long just because they appear in the trailer. Padalecki and McCarthy effectively are making small cameos, and they only had so much time in their schedule in order to film. The fact that the two parties came back each shows the amount of devotion that they each have to the project, and trying to have this be as big of a celebration as humanly possible of the series’ overall legacy. There is a reason why so many people loved this show for the years it was on, and it has a lot to do with combining humor with heartfelt moments and also a decent amount of relatability. Even though times have changed, expect to see this series hand down some reminders that these characters are still Lorelai and Rory when the dust settles.

“Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life” will start streaming come Friday, November 25.
